I had my new windshield installed yesterday and he wanted to put the chrome in, but I wasnt ready, I needed to polish it... so he said no big deal.
Anyway, I polished it all up and started installing it... the bottom and side pieces went in fine, but the tops will not go at all. I dented one trying to get it in but I believe he used a hardening type sealer (which I specifically told him not to do and he agreed)Its not gooey, but soft and solid... so now I think I have to cut a small portion off the top to make clearance then get two new top chrome pieces then seal it again right before I install the chrome.
Any pointers or am I on track? Thanks
