My 1965 convertibles windshield fogs up real bad on a cold day when I open the temp control or heat. What would cause this problem? A small leak in the heater core perhaps? Turning on the fan just makes it worse.

Thanks

Yep, that will do it. Also might sense an initial faint smell of sweetness, which would be antifreeze.

One more for the heater core leak .Feel the bottom of the box and see if there is coolant dripping ,although it may not be at that point yet

One other slight possibilty could be your cowl vent rusted thru and leaking water into your heater box. But i would still put money on the heater core
