I've just finished building an online database for windsor series engines. The objective is to gather data on everyone's build so it can be used as a point of reference for people building engines in the future. This way people will be able to easily see how different combinations perform and allow sorting by part/hp/ET etc.

Please add your engine in the page below.

Windsor engines are more than just 302s.

Its just an afternoon's work hence a couple of typo/s short comings.

If you can list any parts (intakes/heads/etc) that I am missing let me know and I will add them all.

The reason I didnt have free text for the heads was I wanted to avoid having 500 different ways to spell various brand/models. This should make it easier to sort and see trends in the results.

Theres a small bug with the ET field that I'll fix tonight.

I know, hence the ability to enter any engine capacity to cater for strokers, 289s, 351s etc. The site is aimed at all windsors but 302w is the domain I have.

Canfield heads aren't on the list. Other than that seems workable IMO.

Either there is a built-in delay or it didn't accept my info.

Really? Hmm. Did you have any little red validation messages showing on the right hand side?

No, it just came up with a new screen, kind of like a refresh. I was afraid to try again because I didn't want to mess up your database with a duplicate.

I resubmitted last night and it accepted my info. It also "refreshed" and had included my data. Never noted the validation message that time either. Probably just me. . . . .

I think you should add a provision for transmission types . . .

Wouldn't want someone to be disappointed with a dyno number only because it was going through a c4 instead of a stick.

Added transmission types into the mix, and some extra parts.

good idea COV3R. I think torque and the rpm maximums should be added so someone doesn't build a 302 to make 450hp based on someone elses results only to find out you need to rev it 7000 rpm. Might seem logical to some who are familiar with engines, but it won't to others less experienced. Just my thoughts on it.
