My b cam was so powerful it teleported my car right out of the garage!

They flow on par with GT40/GT40P iron heads... around 200cfm at 0.500 lift.
Take them up over 0.600 and they flow ~230cfm... but doesn't sound like you want to cam it, so, with ~0.450 lift... ya...
With a some port work and decent valves they will go 260ish cfm up around 0.600/0.700.
I would expect handy 280cfm out of a set if you had the money (think $3000.00 labor alone) to have them done right.
I though long and hard about running a set done right... but stuck with the stock heads (equally labor intensive for about 50 less cfm, but hey they are "stock" heads right?)

As such, without doing a bunch of work to them and going pretty aggressive on the cam and addressing the low compression of the truck motor, you should expect GT40 iron power... especially with the "GT40" intake and stock cam. I'd say 30hp is fair, if not fractionally optimistic.

If you want a good iron head, search out a set of old TW iron high ports... good luck finding a set.

Oops, sorry. I was particularly worn out yesterday when I read that. Windsor Jr heads were my first head upgrade. They weren't that bad. Manged to run high 12s with them in a Foxbody and a Steeda #18 cam. They were milled and ported a little. If the price is right, I say go for it.

Warning up front, the valve cover bolt holes are a little shallower than stock heads, so you need shorter bolts. Mine were set up for stud mount rockers, not sure if pedastal mounts are an option. Check out if they have studs on them.

Good to know, thanks! I paid $400 for them with some nice rockers. They've been milled and looks like a little work has been done cleaning up the runners, but no porting. I will probably unshroud the intake valves a little as that was the #1 complaint I read about on them.

...Based on flow number, P heads flow better!

That's a really good price, and I would jump on that in a heartbeat. Hell, the rockers are over $200 if they aren't Chinese. Make sure you can verify if they are 1.60:1 (factory ratio) or 1.72:1 rockers as it is important for picking a cam. The difference in flow between these heads and a P head is negligible. If you have a deal like that, go for it.
