Been wingless (really spoiler-less) for a few years already. Spoiler sitting in the closet. Anyway my $0.02:

IT DOES work with larger than stock wheels and lowered. 16"-ers and stock height doesn't cut it IMO. I think the borla tips help too. Also, I've found the S281 wing looks excellent from front, bottom, back and side angles, but too bulky from any 'above' angle (i.e. looking down on it) due to the use of the stock holes, etc... Hence, I prefer a Grigg's CF spoiler. Much better look and it a real-functional spoiler.

Just for fun, here's my new powercoated, 100% functional heat extractors/louvers I installed 2 weeks ago (actually keeps engine ~10^ cooler):

I Dont like it this way at all it Really looks strange and the holes.... you cant just plug them you would have to Fill then and repaint to Try to look good. Im doing a bunch of stuff to my car and this is a pic from today. I think it looks like on of the conceps from 93 like the "bruce jenner" one Dont take your Rockers off

at least thats my $0.02...

it does look a little weird. I dunno can you get a shot of the area you are talking about like the holes. and how about a side shot of the car?

that was before it was lowered. i think it would have been better if it was lowered and i had the wide tires in back.

now it have something that is sort of a compromise:

To be honest I dont know why I bought a GTS... I just wanted A/C in my car and at the time I bought it it was working, and crapped out on me right before summer Now I wish I had power windows so I wont have to manualy roll them down now.

Mine was wingless in his first year because it's a GTS and my spoiler is an aftermark one, it does have 3 'poles' that grounds to the trunk compare to only 2 on stock mustang gt spoilers.

mine had the same 3 post FORD spoiler when I bought it. I guess it is some v6 option?

I wonder if I could sell it on ebay

here is the pic of no rockers

those are some custom CCWs... "more than you can afford pal"

they make light weight wheels for big brake aapplications, drag street and road racing. tons of C5s and cupras use these because they make skinnies and wides for their application.

Hope that helps you guys. They are not to easy to get off either you really have to PULL to get them off and it may damage the paint.

From a distance it looks awosem, but when you get upclose and can see all the holes Thats why I'm going too fill them in and repaint the bottom section of my car, and repaint where my spoiler was too when my cars down... No rocker panels and spoiler = Get a nice sec of drag tires, get it raked and you cant beat the look

Rocker = 15

Front rocker piece = 2

you will also see the pinch weld under the car too not sure what you would want to do with that and those holes maybe cover it with metal and paint it.

I guess Im not for the No rocker thing but maybe if its done right and the right tire combo it may look good, seeing is believing so post it if you do it, I guess I could photochop it too...

Meh, no rocker removal for me! Far too much commitment required; I can have the wing back on the car in a minute if the mood struck.

Which it won't, God how I LOVE the way the car looks wingless!
