Been wingless (really spoiler-less) for a few years already. Spoiler sitting in the closet. Anyway my $0.02:
IT DOES work with larger than stock wheels and lowered. 16"-ers and stock height doesn't cut it IMO. I think the borla tips help too. Also, I've found the S281 wing looks excellent from front, bottom, back and side angles, but too bulky from any 'above' angle (i.e. looking down on it) due to the use of the stock holes, etc... Hence, I prefer a Grigg's CF spoiler. Much better look and it a real-functional spoiler.
Just for fun, here's my new powercoated, 100% functional heat extractors/louvers I installed 2 weeks ago (actually keeps engine ~10^ cooler):
