I'm going to take the wing off. Before I remove it I want to have everything ready. For those of you that plugged the mounting holes with vinyl plugs, what size did you use?

There was a thread on here a while ago about the plugs, try a search. But I bet you could take one of the nuts that secures the wing to the trunk to home depot and find what size bolt it fits. That will give you the size of the plug needed.

another easy way would be to just throw on some electrical tape over the hole until you want to fill it in.

i used duct tape to cover mine while i'm waiting for my wing to come in, been a month with lots of rain and no leaking. I bought the plugs that were in the thread circulating around but the rear's were too small. So duct tape it was.

Thanks. I'm going to paint the plugs like others have done. I want it to look some what stock. I wouldnt want to fill it in unless I was 100% sure I was going to keep it wingless or go with the cobra wing.

Go cheap, or what looks better? That was just a suggestion. I have learned a long time ago that you should do it right the first time. Now if he likes wingless better, then thats what he should get. But dont EVER let the price of something force you into doing something that you wont be happy with. (unless its outrageous LOL) but a few hundred for a one time thing....Milk money. BTW 03 cobra wing looks GREAT too.
Smart thing would be to do the $3 mod first, if you dont like it, then get the steeda or 03 cobra...or whatever it is you want. Do you want some pics of the steeda?
