Round 1 and 2.

Maddox's 3v vs my car(383rwhp). He has a big bottle hiding that he has not brought out, so round 3-10 should be good. For those of you that don't know, we are friends and always heckle each other. I have a feeling that I am going to need about 50hp more, as his sleeper nitrous kit is almost naked to the eye and should be done this week. Please excuse my best buddy, he was video taping and having a good time.

And no, this is not a GM vs. Ford debate. I can post quite a few videos of myself being raped by my friends' Shelbys, GT's, Etc.

There you have it folks..a cold air intake auto stang vs a headers+built rear Z0SEX. The results were expected :nice:

Let me know the details on the rear end once you get them--for what its worth I got in 5 more passes once you left; managed a decent time on only ONE pass. Car is still only trapping at 102-104 though :(

Built rear my Azz, did you drive home with me. Clunk, clunk, whine, whine. Just C6Z06 rear with a right and left side output shaft(300m). Same old GM junk, Crappy POS rear ends. Back to the drawing board I go. I know your game, sneaky! A little more gear and cam is in order, you ruthless, hide your N20 bastage!

I'm not sure my little ole' wet kit is going to for sure do what needs to be done. Might do the torque converter with spray to see what happens. My car is still under warranty so hidden/undetectable was the only way to go; a simple swap of the stock intake and it all looks good and stock. Let me know when you decide to rid of those large tires; they'd sure look good on the s197 ;)

Mods on the GT?
JLT cold air intake, sct programmer, overweight driver, kevlar vest with loaded gun in trunk :rlaugh: tipped in at 3540-3560 on scales without driver. I also ran a shorter belt tonight to eliminate one pulley, however I think the only benefit is the workout I got for my arms :D

Sounds good to me. Give me a shout and let's get them mounted up and see what they will do on your car. They don't work on my car with my clutch setup.

man i envy any track not in california. That was some sick driving Mark. close to the 11 second club man. Thats awesome.

:flag:

Thanks Mazen. Nothing like an 11 second car with a 12 second driver! My 1/8 mile bone stock was a 7.82, and last night was a 7.79. The wrong clutch really hurts with the wrong wheel/tire setup and my lack of experience with it.

What size are they and how much you looking to get for them?

IF there isn't an event going on next Friday; I'll take you up on that offer. Stock auto with a shot  I'm always game for friendly runs, especially if it benefits you guys on tape to make the car look faster ;)

Man, your track is a lot more lenient than mine! They wouldn't pass me through tech once because I had some ski crap in the trunk.
They didn't examine my trunk as the car appears completely stock. I did have it secured so it wasn't sliding around and such.

Winters, what's the problem with your tired and clutch? What tires and clutch do you have?
His current problem is the 18" tires are too large for his setup. His car would be much easier to work with on some 16" with some sidewall. The aftermarket clutch that he has is resulting in the car being difficult to launch with it either not being engaged or being fully engaged--very little in between. Thats the reason for the bogs or breaks :rlaugh:

:nono: Not gonna happen, Johnny Boy

Well unfortunately im at work in peru and wont be home till around the 20th of april. But suffice to say when i get back ill be ready, and ill even use my almighty sumitomos! Beware though i ran a 1.9 60' with them last time!

They are 275 new, not interested in making any money off them. If you want to test them out for a couple nights at the track, give me a shout. Unless I get the rear end looked at and the cam put in, I won't be heading back out to the track unless we get 1 more good night before the heat wave hits.

what tires?

Mickey T's 305/35/18 Radials.

Nice runs , how was the weather ?

Decent. DA started out around 200ft when I got there and then dropped as the temp cooled.
