Winters98gt VS. D98GT

When I was bone stock with the stock clutch and street tires, low-mid 1.8's. With DR's high 1.7's to low 1.8's.

With my spec 3 clutch, best is a 1.78. I average 1.80-1.85.

I would guess that Maddox is in the 1.95-2.05 area.

I love to see stuff like this, where people love *cars* and not just one specific model/company/country. I hate when people bag on other cars with comparable power (sometimes MUCH more power, in Winter's case haha) just because they arent the same car that they own.

But yeah, nice videos. Cant deny the power of a Z06, those things are monsters. Clean Stang too, cant wait to see what it runs with the bottle. Keep the vids coming!

I agree Evilturkey :nice: It's also important that this was done at a sanctioned race track ;)

Our little rivalry has always been friendly and we both go back to NPI days (of course me with an auto again;)) It's fair to say that his car dynos right at 100 more to the wheels currently so I will pill a 100 shot and it should get interesting.

I JUST ordered some 4.10s and will get them installed next week or so. I am having a tough time deciding if I should go with mac longtubes/prochamber/ or a torque converter however

You going to put it on a diet too? I don't think matching horsepower with him is going to be enough on its own. His car weighs quite a bit less, along with the horsepower advantage.

Longtubes FTW!

Well the car might weigh in 50lbs or so lighter which isn't going to benefit me much. The car had an actual full tank of gas friday since I didn't know that I was going until the day of; I had filled up :rlaugh:

I think with the horsepower, and mostly the torque hit, from the wet kit that it'd be closer than most are tninking ;) There are many nitrous only cars running 11.8-12.2s

My only changes will be the 4.10s and possibly a torque converter which is worth quite a bit of time:nice:

I hope you are ready for a good run. The kit is on and hitting hard even on my small jets and will be mounting some 28x10.50s on the 15s. I have bought some 4.10s and a pypes violator catback as well

I'll be ready! Big Cam is going in the car in about 2-3 weeks which should add around 60hp, and my car will be losing about 150 pounds. I'm running in San Antonio tomorrow night.

+1000ft DA and a 15-20mph head wind from the cold front coming in at SAR.

18 inch drag radials. 1.72, 1.74, 1.78 60ft's!!!!!!! Car is dialed in, but the transmission is just about toast. The car would not go in to 4th gear, as you can see from these passes. I have never ever missed 4th gear at any track in any car, since it is just about impossible to do. The car would simply not go in to 4th gear.

missed 4th and ran a 12.10@115mph, 1.74 60ft.

My 383rwhp C5 vs. 465rwhp A4 C6(stock car with 16 inch MT ET streets and NX 100 shot). He ran an 11.80@ 122 to my 12.10, but he was sleeping at the line and I got the win. You can see him run me down, and I edged him out by less than half a car. Very close and very fun. 1.78 60ft.

Best run of the night(1/8). I thought it was 1.6X 60ft, but not quite. Another missed 4th gear. 7.66 at 93mph with a 1.72 60ft. Should have been an 11.8X pass by the 1/8 mile and trap speed. Damn!
