I took my wiper motor apart today, to find a burnt wire and broken magnet inside. My wipers were not shutting off so I took the motor apart and that is what I found, so im going to try a new motor first. That hopefully will fix it since I found those two problems with it. What all cars came with wiper motors like the ones in our car? If a new one is last resort then I will buy it, but a good working used one should be good enough.
