I took my wiper motor apart today, to find a burnt wire and broken magnet inside. My wipers were not shutting off so I took the motor apart and that is what I found, so im going to try a new motor first. That hopefully will fix it since I found those two problems with it. What all cars came with wiper motors like the ones in our car? If a new one is last resort then I will buy it, but a good working used one should be good enough.

Around $75 from a autoparts store, I think a junk yard or scrap yard will charge you atleast $30, www.stangparts.com wants $40 plus shipping.
If you plan to keep the car for awhile I would just go get a reman one from the local parts store.
