hey guys,

I bought a new aftermarket stereo for my car, the wiring harness I got I matched up all the cables and crimped them to the cables on the reciever.

then there is a second smaller wire harness, the blacks I know go to ground, and the blue and white stripes cables go to the amp. Now I have these 2 RCA connectors. where are they supposed to go? or do I leave them unplugged?

here is a picture of what I am talking about.

I would assume, that I need to plug the rca cables into the Front pre amp on my receiver. But do i even need to do this, since the white and grey cables are already spliced into the main wiring harness?

The rca's are for aftermarket amps. If ur using all factory compents (aside from head unit) then you should not need it. In fact, I've never used a part like that....... Whats the part # on it?

this is the link to the model number
Ford Receiver Wire Harness For select 2001-03 Ford Mustang and 2003 Lincoln LS models at Crutchfield.com

on the back of my new reciever, I should also mention its got 3 RCA ports, labeled front, rear, and sub. if that means anything.

They have to be for radios that DON'T already have rca outputs. Not needed in your case as your using all factory stuff and already the 3 required sets on your aftermarket radio. Ignore it. Use the amp turn on though as it will trigger your factory amps.
