Wiring guru's PART II. Help ID AOD harness ?

Thanks for helping with the identification of the ABS sensors. They're gone from this project.

Now for the next installment. I think I'm dealing with the tranny (AOD) harness, but not sure. This is what I get for being nice to my father-in-law, and offering to "do my thing" to his truck. So please be nice to me and ignore my lack of "skills" in the Ford 5.0 arena. I'm trying, and having a blast!

1st pic. Whole (all be it small) harness in question. Only 3 ends, and what looks like a bulkhead grommet.

2nd pic. This looks like it goes somewhere (not outside of the vehicle).

3rd pic. I think this may be the tranny end. VSS, etc..?

What do you think, guru's??? What's what here?

Looks like you on the right path, the manual harness that I put in my car for the swap had that same looking 8 pin connector where it attached in the driver kick panel.

So it doesn't eventually go to the ECU? Maybe they're for VSS and OD? And go to the speedo and switch for OD?

Yay - nay?

looks like that round gray one is the one that connects to the backup/neutral safety switch. dont know the other one on that tree (if its an aode maybe for the overdrive on/of? dunno on that one).
