# 22 and # 23 lost the fight with my welder. They are burned. As I see it I have two options. Replace harness or figure out if I need these two connectors.

One of them is the Thermactor Air Bypass Solenoid and the other the Thermactor Air Diverter Solenoid. What do these do? Do I even need these?

My 88 Notch is a street strip car, no smog, a/c, p/s, no cats, turbo, t-5.

Thanks,
Ben SEMPER FI

Clip them, I have a 66 with a 5.0 and the EFI and I ditched the thermactor stuff during the conversion and no problems.. It'll throw a code but won't affect the performance (that I know of).

If you don't want the codes to show up, cut the wires and solder a 75Ω 3-Watt resistor to each pair of the solenoid wires.
