I have a 1992 Mustang 5.0 hatchback, i recently installed underdive pulleys on my car, ever since then my alternator output has been poor. The alternator went bad and i replaced it. A couple thousand miles later my turn signals, rear defroster, heater blower dont work. if i replace the 15 amp fuse they all work untill i drive the car. The fuse does not go bad, i can take it out and replace it with the same fuse and it works again... the heater blower fan is not on the 15amp fuse that the turn signals are on, but it is all conected somhow, help!

P.S> could i have overloaded my wiring by the poor output of the alternator?

I'd swap pulleys back or atleast OD the alt.

Before you mentioned the fuse fixing things for a minute, my first thought was an ignition switch issue. I still might check the switch (it was a recall item on some years).

Good luck.

Here's a possiblity: the fuse holder contacts are corroded and removing the fuse cools things off. Sticking the fuse back in wipes some of the corrosion off and things work for a while until the corrosion builds back up and makes things over heat & quit working. Look closely at the fuse holder contacts & try to scrape them with a jeweler's screwdriver or simliar small instrument.
