I saw a thread on another forum about wiring a trunk release button, but I can't really follow it. Pictures were missing, I guess they de-post them after a while.
I had a number of things on my '96 that I liked (and are missing from my '05) including the trunk release button in the glove box, the glove box light, and the underhood light.
I can do without the glove box light and the underhood light, but it was pretty convenient to have the trunk release.
If the right wires can be found in the wiring harness behind the passengers side kick plate, I am guessing it should not be too hard a job. The release button for the '96 is a pretty cheap part and I'm sure it could be mounted easily in the '05's glove box.
If anybody can post the right color codes for the wires to supply a momentary pulse to the trunk solenoid, it would be much appreciated.
