So I broke the transmission in my Stang 2 weeks ago. Since my Probe blew up several months back I had been taking it easy on the Stang because it was my work transportation. Stupid me couldn't resist taking on an SRT-4 and I blew the 3-4 shift fork. So now the car is sitting on jacks wating for me to get up the gumption to pull the tranny.

I've been looking for another DD so all of my time has been spent with some dumbass salesman who can't uderstand english when I explain to them in 10 words or less what I want. I can't understand when you tell a person what you want it gets twisted around in their brain and comes out exactly opposite of what I said.

Yesterday I took my daughters Neon to work...of course the thing is "decorated" so I look like a big flame driving it. Now everytime I look up I see a nice Stang drive by or some other cool car and I'm stuck in the Expedition...somebody help me...I need to drive something that doesn't go 0-60 in 15 minutes.

even a non pi stang feels like one of the fastest cars out there once you have to drive a slushie or any lower hp car. ;[ Dont you hate when your 1st in line @ a light and the light turns green and you take off only to find your pulling off so damn slow lol. Just that gives me alot more respect for my non pi stang.

I was dissapointed because our car club had a poker run last week and I broke my car 2 days before so I was stuck in a rental PT Cruiser. I kinda like those cars though...just don't have any power. Now the Neon? Even driving an SRT4 causes your penis to begin inverting to form a crevise.

Now I still have to go and find another car...with no money. Like a dummy I have all my cash tied up in my 401K and no real savings I can get at. I can borrow from the 401K but I already have a loan out and really don't need to hit it again.

Now these freakin car salesman. I walk up and the first thing I say is I want a car for 10K out the door. What do they do? Proceed to show me cars that are 11,999...WTF...So you are going to knock off 3 grand so I can have it for 10K total? "Ummm...uhhh...well"... So why are you showing me this car funkin dickhead...Of course they say "let me go talk to the manager" and stay gone for 20 minutes. I know what those MFers are doing and it aint discussing price. Walks back and says 10,500...just get the hell out of my face, man, I'm done.

Now the classic line of the day...
"Tell me, if everything was perfect what would it take for you to drive that car home today".

"Sell it to me for a dollar..."

"Well...um..."

Well you asked me you moron. At the end of the day Friday it was lucky I wasn't carrying a gun.

Salesmen can be total tards. I had one tell me I was "wasting his time" and wasnt doing them any good cause I was "too young to have enough cash to buy", which was a lie. Oh well, Mr. ******* salesmen may have costed them a sale.

Also had one tell me that a 98 GT (not loaded) w/ 74k was worth between 13-14k and it was a total steal to sell it for 9 grand. He also said the big inline-6 under the hood had plenty of power for me...

I hate the ones who try to come off know more about the car than they really do. Like the guy telling me the new 05 had a 3V engine and the 04 Cobra was 2V so the 05 GT was faster and had more HP. Gimme a break...

I guess I could call my dad a borrow his C5 again. That kinds put me back into a happy place.

yeah, when I put the new trans in I drove my GF 97 Toyota Corolla. OMG the thing only picked up speed going down hill. You can smash down the gas and get beat by some old guy walking with his caine.

My car has more than 30hp.....

Stealerships get boned sometimes. A long time ago, my mom used to have a 95 Stang 6'er. She took good care of it, and it looked brand new the day he went to trade it in. The paint was still glossy and swirl free, which was amazing for an older black car. The guy that came out of the dealership to inspect the car's value was highly impressed with it. It had 88k on the clock. When the guy came in with his appraisal, he quoted us $7,000 for your "95 Mustang GT". We were like, SOLD!
