We've had this argument many times at work... My best friend is a girl. Maybe it doesn't count because she's one of the guys? I dunno. I've slept at her house multiple times. We drink together a lot. Nothing's going on other than fun. The only difference in our relationship as opposed to when I'm hanging out with the guys... Is I don't hug the guys when I leave the bar

PS She's hot, and yes she's taken, and yes her BF knows I hang out with her...

According to you and some of the guys at work, I'm hittin' that ****nit.... But I'm not.

And the reason behind that is......ding, ding, ding!!! Because she hasn't given you any indication that you could. All men need is the slightest whiff of hope and the opportunity and it's on. The fact that she's got a boyfriend may have something to do with it as well. Either because you're A) a stand up guy, that would never rub another mans ru-barb, or B) you fear retaliation from him in the even the two of you got caught.

DO IT, legally it's your ring no matter what!

Just thought i'd throw this in: Before the marriage, it's still your ring despite that there was donative intent, delivery, and acceptance by the grantee. It's a conditional gift where you promise her the ring if she marries you. After the "I dos", it's her ring.

Also depends on who breaks up with whom.

Wow, what an odd situation. I think the OP stopped reading because he is in denial? My girlfriend sorta did the same thing after 3.5 years. We kinda grew apart and she started wanting to hang out with this dude from her work (we were both 20, the other dude was 18... so a little different situation). After we broke up, she dated this guy for a few months before realizing he was immature. Then dated a few other guys before she realized she wanted me back. And she came at me hardcore. I had been hanging out with a bunch of girls and wasn't tryin to get back in a relationship because I had just had 2 lasting 5+ years total. After over a year, she still wants to get back and we still aren't together.

You gotta be strong and stand up for your beliefs. You know that she had more than just 'another friend' in that guy. I think some of the above people are right, you love her more than she loves you. She doesn't really love you if she needs to go out with other guys in the middle of your relationship to realize that you are the one.

Geezzz! i still stand by my 1/4 times, i have raced numerous PI GT's, and won. be them a 5-spd or manual. I have also raced a '97 GT and won by a very decent margin. the '97 races at the track also, best ET of 15.6@88, and it's stock cept for exhaust.

I can't remember the corrected altitude here, but it's usually around what it would be like in Denver if i remember, have to check my old slips again.

This is blunt, but your fiancé is a cheating whore. No ifs, ands or buts about it! The whole "he's just a friend" speech is exactly what you called it, a crock! This friend and she have had something in the works for a long time behind your back before this. It isn't one of those out of the blue things that "just happened" as women often love to say. What….she accidentally started spending excessive time with this guy…..without you around and one day he tripped and his penis mistakenly entered her?!? This very well could have started innocently enough, but this got waaaay past friends a long time ago and don’t ever let her tell you she didn’t see it coming. She saw it coming just fine, she at the point of no return basically chose him, over you. Plain and simple!

For anyone who doesn't know......as far as women are concerned, there is no such thing as a "male friend".....unless he's full on flaming gay. And even then I’m gonna need some hard proof of that! Otherwise, male friends are guys that just haven't gotten around to sleeping with your girlfriend yet. Women are so naive as far as this subject is concerned. I'm actually convinced that most women are aware of it, but choose to play dumb, in order to have grounds for denial if accused, then come out the "innocent lamb" afterwards.

…..yeah, it’s happened to me too.

You essentially rewarded "bad behavior". Your girl knows she can cheat on you and you will take her back, regardless. Good luck man but I don't see it lasting since she has no respect for you. I'll take a girl's respect over her love any day.

and you're right, that is something that is very hard, trust is a big thing. I think she's learned her lesson and things are very different now. She cares a lot more, more than she used to by far. But you never know, although I beleive that she is totally changed. It's been 9 months now, and not a problem.

ahhhh, who knows, but hey, i'm happy and she's happy now, I guess in the end that's all that matters, right?
