depends on the condition of the car. for 2k if the body and interior look good I would buy it and either part it out or drop a new motor tranny in it.

If the body and interior is good then depending on how the engine/trans works you could possibly get it for less and spend $300 to $600 for a decent to built stockish engine and drop it in and be good to go.. just make sure you check all the normal spots like under the hatch/doors, torque boxes etc

i say get it and if you're thinking of selling your current car, swap the motor and trans with the 88 and just get a little less out of selling your car.

yea i agree with other people on getting it if the outside looks prety gud (check for rust) and u can find a good priced engine for it and tranny. Also check if its black interior, cuz i think those are a little bit rarer, but im not sure i mite be wrong.

Don't let the miles scare you. My Capri has over 250,000 miles on it and still runs strong.
