hey guys im new on this site and i just blew a whole in my block and i was just going to replace the whole motor...does ne1 know where i can get a motor for a decent price??

thanks guys...well me nd my buddies can do almost wutever so wut im prolly gonna do is take the motor out set the stang on the side and build that motor up and just get a new one/used 5.0 nd put it in a focus ive seen one in real life and i wanna do it so bad haha...nd i have no clue where to look for a new/used motor and the junkyards around here i cant find one thats why im asking for the help....nd for the mechanic skills ahh im the slow one out of the group but i get by haha....so please just help me find da motor and blocks for a good price if ya know ne off hand or wut not thanks guys....wuts craigslist?? im looking to get the stang under 12.5s
 
Sean Hyland motorsport did a 5.0 swap into a focus on one of those car shows last year, and there was EXTENSIVE fabrication involved. Beware.

craigslist.com is a local classified web site - here there a couple 302's currently listed.

By "how fast you want to get your car running?" I meant how SOON do you need to repair it. If you have lots of time you need less money.

That brings you to the budget - I guess without you posting what you want to spend, it's pretty hard to say, but if you want to run 12.5 you will need at least couple grand for aftermarket heads, cam, intake, and rear gears. Might want to stiffen your chassis, too. This is all after you get your shortblock put back together.

thanks man i just plan on getting it back out for summer time no rush really nd a budget ahh dont really have one at the moment but trying to stay under 10k would be nice
