i dunno, 13.9 is a half a second better that your time so far. that is a long time at a 1/4 mile track.

good runs though. it's good to see you smiling again

I think you may also need srag radials to hit 13.9 too.

But its definitely not far.

Looks like you are having fun at the strip

If your sig mods are current and accurate ................
and
You wanna do a motor mod for a bit more power ................

I'd say you're not gonna find much gain from a tb ... if any
You're just not moving enough air at this point time.

I'd do some pulleys for a gain of tenth to a tenth and a half in the 1/4

The best thing you could do at this time to lower your et (besides more
practice) would be work on lowering your sixty foot. Sticky tires
would help for sure and give you that 2 for 1 gain on the big end

In a way, you're prolly right on the money with that comment. With 215k on the clock, I'll bet the clearances on the rods and mains are nice and loose. Plus, the bores have prolly become a "low friction" design.

I'd say that as long as you have nice oil pressure, keep running it!

When you do get another longblock, "spray" the crap out of the one that is in there, till it dies.

I'm impressed you could have the lower intake ported and install some 3:73's and some drag radials not to mention the pullies. You would easily break into the 13's.
I ran a 89 gt with well over 230,000 miles on it when the speedometer quite two years earlier and I ran a 9.54 in the 1/8th. I know your convertible weighs way more and your already faster than that.

I can vouch for that. Times in my signature are right before she quit.

my friends track car would always start dropping tenths with no adjustments and then she would pop lol i have seen it a lot since his motor craps out once a year lol ...i know it dosent affect your e.t. but you need to work on getting out of the hole lol and about the vert in the 13's with bolt ons i think it has been done...but how big of a bolt on are you considering lol because a supercharger BOLTS on haha and im sure you would have no problems hitting 13 then lol
