worried

guys took off passanger side head....gasket wasnt blown..i know there is 50% chance could be other head(havnt gotten to it yet) but the car was overheating and there was beige goop on oil cap. Thought blown gasket. SOmeone told me could be cracked block...car was running great besides it overheating every 3-4 days. Would the car run that good and not overheat that often ifi had a cracked block? Seems like that would cause the motor to not run so good. I mean the water pump was shot too so im hoping replacing gaskets (all of them) and replacing water pump will solve problem. What do you guys think???

my 88 acted the same way,it would run 3 or 4 days not lose any coolant then it would just overheat.finally it got real bad and overheated all the time.i tore it down hoping to find a blown headgasket or even a cracked head but no such luck.on the driverside where the headbolts go it was cracked between the center bolts all the way to the cylinders.hope yours isn't like this but check carefully around the bolt holes.

crap

man if i find a crack in the block i am selling the beast....i cannot afford to buy another block. I will go to the dealership and get a 2003 cobra. The 94 is my baby but after all this if i find a cracked block i am simply going to flip out and break everything in my path...the path from the garage to the bathroom where i puke in discust. yak yak yak :notnice:
