I averaged 12-15mpg before I put a chip in my computer. I think some of the people here have been around 10mpg.

I'm now back to stock: 18-19mpg street, 23-25mpg highway. And more power & torque.

Funny you should have posted this right now... I just filled up my tank and checked my milage. [Right now I am driving mostly back country two lane roads, because I'm temporarily assigned to one of our power plants.] Driving these conditions... 305 miles/12.8 gallons = 23.82 miles per gallon. I'm pretty pleased

Combined city and highway, I averaged like 15 mpg one time. Usually it's about 16-17mpg depending on the amount of freeway driving. On the highway, I get like 23-24 mpg.

The worst, my old f-150. 5.4L + heavy-ass truck + lead foot + lots of city driving= BAD milage

I'm using a JMS chip in my 'Stang. I had lost power and mileage 'cause I had put in a few intake mods; I was running on the edge of lean, and the computer couldn't compensate. I had even bought an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to richen the mix, but that just made my mpg worse. The chip mainly redid the air/fuel curve in the computer, which has me running a more efficient mix.

If I baby the car for the entire tank, I can actually hit 20mpg. I've done it once or twice. Was hard to do - I am such a speed junkie.

If you want better gas mileage, make sure you've worked out all the bugs in your 'stang before you try a chip. No chip can help if your engine isn't running as smooth as it can.

Best I got with my 91 Hatch was 28mpg with AOD, 3:55's, full 2.5in exhaust with no cats....mostly highway.

Best I got with my 94 all stock 5-speed GT was 24 mpgs....Not bad, everyone expects all V-8 cars to guzzle the gas. . I love modern technology!

I used to get 25 on the highway before the gears, after it was 23. Now I have something wrong with the motor and I'm lucky to get 16.

I'm scared to do the math on mine if I did I would probably cry everytime I went to the pumps, but the way I look at it is I own mine outright and no matter how much yah drive its not any where near a $300 a month car payment just to get a couple extra mpg
