Worst gas mileage you have ever had?

my best was 19 mpg highway goin the speed limit and goin REALLY easy on it before my gears. Last weekend me and some buddies went to a show in NC, I got some gas when we got to the town the show was in, and we drove around for a while, well the way we were driving I did the math and I got about 5.5 mpg lol.

This includes a few 180's at U-Turns lol, one of which I got on video and will post as soon as my friend gets off his ass and sends it to me. (I did the 180's to show up the imports in our group....they admitted they wish they could do it too!)

I typically average 19-20mpg per tank, and about 250-275 miles. The worst I have gotten in at the road course where I am WOT for 20 minutes at a time. I think I went through ~ 1/2 tank and got about 50 miles, which is just about 7mpg.

if I would have kept going... would have gotten about 40miles to the tank. I'm suprised the car still ran, but it was pooring black smoke out

i get around 15-17 normally, mixed but more city than highway.

then again, the gears mess up the speedo and odometer, so i really don't know what i am getting for sure.

200 miles per tank is pretty typical.

on the highway i can get up to 24mpg.

i'm hoping it doesn't go down too much when the kenne bell goes on. it's a daily driver. i'm going to start with a very modest 6#s of boost.

is that mostly on the highway? i'm happy to get 200 on a tank.

Its about 40/60 (city/hwy). I usually cruise around 75-85mph, but I use cruise control alot. In the city I dont always floor it, but I do lots of shifting at 5k if its nice out. My car has always seemed to get pretty good gas mileage, run pretty good times, and dyno'd pretty good for its mods so I think its just tuned good. Also it gets about 1mpg better with the stock 16's, with the 17's & 315's the wheels are a ton heavier & rolling resistance is much higher.

this last tank, i've been cruising at around 1500 rpm using very light throttle. so far i'm at 135 miles and i have aout 3/8 of a tank left. i'm hoping to get 225 on this tank. that would put me at about 17.5 mpg.. i could be happy with that.

also, i seem to get better mileage on 87 octane gas.
