its a dammned shame that you DIDNT get arrested and have your car impounded. Morons like you who street race give the hobby a bad name. I hope you pull this stunt again and end up bleeding to death in a ditch. Hopefully you won't hurt anyone in the process.

YOUR A D-BAG!!!!

on that note the motor is siezed. i found a 03 gt motor for $200 w 70k on it, a set of stage 2 pi heads for $200 w/comp cams and whole upper intake. i could also get a forged rotating ass. and rebuild mine with the stage2 heads. would i be able to rebuild the motor in my garage bc i talked to an engine builder who wants $1500 just in labor and im gonna have trouble just coming up w parts to put it back together. a buddy of mine also has a fully built n2o 350 making 600hp on the motor that i could get for $400 and ill have plenty of professional help putting it in, but i would have to get the car to ny.

does the cobra come forged maybe i can pick up a cobra short block or something. any ideas. (bang for buck)

Okay..scrap your idea of installing a 350 in the car It doesn't just work like that.

As for the deals you have found for the motor and the heads--even if you don't use them, the stage2 heads with cams for only 200 is a steal Could easily turn that around for a profit and make someones Christmas even better.

As for building the motor in the garage--not a problem! My car is currently in a garage that is FILLED with junk but still had room for my hoist and engine stand.

i have the means to put the 350 in it, tubular k-member and what not. that motor for 200 is a good deal but i dnt want to put another motor in my car just to have it blow up in a couple months. i think i want to pick up the heads regaurdless just cuz its a good deal. as far as a rebuild is there alot of machine work and really close tollerances that go into it? i basicly dnt want to put together a heads and cam motor while its out. mainly i want to put the mark VIII pistons in it so w/ the pi heads it will be at 11-11.5:1 instead of the 9:1 stock. can use the pistons out of my motor i have now what would i need to just swap pistons.
is it possible to put 4v heads on a 2v bottom end?

...I can take it. I think.

If you have a 70K mile motor for 200 jump at it. Not sure why you would be replacing it in 2 months if you take care of it. I'll have 200K on my 96 in about a month and it runs great. That is after the mods and 75+ passes at the track.

Note...street racing threads are usually not allowed here but since you are paying the price for it we'll let it go. But the side comments from others have been noted so any more on the subject attacking the original poster will not be tolerated. Fine to chastize him for doing something stupid but personal attacks are a no-no.

the motor i put in three months ago was a fresh rebuild. i think that im going to get that motor for 200 bucks and maybe try to get those heads to just throw on top of it. than i will build another forged motor on the side so im not pressed for time and can build it right.

i understand wont happen again but what i said was hardly an attack from what he said
