Worth Waiting for 2009 Mustangs ????

I have been ready alot of things saying there will be alot of now things and changes
to the 2009 Mustangs. Will it be worth waiting?

What do you think will be better on the 2009's ?

There's always something better out there. That's really all I can tell you. If you can wait a year, go for it. I couldn't, thus the two S197's in my garage.

Yup, wait for the new update in 2010 but then they'll be talking about the new 2014 so maybe you'll want to hold off until then.......................or get one now and enjoy a great Mustang.

Tomorrow never comes, enjoy today. It's all there really is.

Buy while you can. If Ford keeps reporting losses there might not be any more Mustangs or any Fords. :\

Thats not going to happen.. Ford is not going anywhere in the near future.

BTW ford posted a profit last quarter.

There will be no changes to the 2009 Mustang ! The re-designed Mustang won't arrive in dealerships until mid 09, during the 2010 model year, as a 2010.

I don't think Ford can make a much better looking car than the current s197. The redesign may not look as good.

The main benefit of future mustangs is probably going to be the 5.0. But even when that happens it would be better to wait a model year or two before buying one in case there are any problems that need to be ironed out.

Buy now, life's to short to wait 3-5 years.

is it going to be that new body? if so buy now. i think the great thing about the mustang now is that it has the classic look?

Most people think the current S197 has a mix of '65 - '68 styling. The 2010 refresh is rumored to have a '69-'70 feel. The Giugiaro concept is nothing more than a concept. They make take a few design cues from that, but the 2010 refresh will be every bit as retro as the current S197. The greenhouse is going to stay the same, but hips will be added, along with a more aggressive nose. That's all that's really known right now.

+1 There seems to be a consensus here. Buy now. You never know what is going to happen tomorrow. It's such a rush everytime I get in my car.
