I only like the 67-69 Camaros and the late 80's ones like the IROC. I'm not down with the arrow shapred ones. The newest TA's are cool, but they do seem big and feel like it inside despite how fast they are. The mustang is still the best performance/$ out of the three by FAR is you consider the aftermarket options.

I'm around!!!

Yeah, his ws6 is awesome. I get the best of both worlds... some days we take my stang, other days we take his ws6. His ws6 is much faster than my stang...... but one day that will not be the case!!

here's some vids of my bf's ws6

Yeah.... no more juice though until I rebuild the motor.
Someone tugged too hard when I had some piston / valve clearance issues and dented a piston. I dont feel like seeing how long it would last on the juice either... so I pulled it off.

Anyway... I love her stang too. We'll get some more mods on it pretty soon.

I'd rather have an LS1 WS6 or Z28 over a GT, but maybe not a Cobra. Alot depends on the price.

I'd take a GT or Cobra over Z28 or T/A, but there are two exceptions:

1. Orange SS

2. Most any Vette

I would have to have a Cobra first, before choosing either. I'd bet often that I could take a S/C Cobra and whip most any Vette or other GM variant. Even the Z06 driver better be ready, cause I don't think most of them thin people would go after them. Seen too many people that can't drive worth crap, especially accelerating quick. I do love the look of the orange SS, but I'd have to forgive the interior and caravan looking dash.

I didnt' read what everyone said but I would definately sport a car capable or running 12's with small mods. Even if its an F-Body.

Keep it in the family, America vs everyone else. Although some oversease cars are badass.

i feel the same way.

my brother has a Trans Am and its really nice. I don't like and of the camaro's interiors no matter what year it is. looks so cheap!!!!!! i was almost going to buy a Trans Am and a formula but after seeing my car, i decided to get it instead.

would i trade my mustang for a trans am????? if i didnt put the money i had into it already, i would for sure.

having both a Trans Am and a Mustang in the garage at the same time with the garage door opened always draws looks especially the guys me and my brother hate who drive up our street who almost come to a complete stop to take a look in.

considering stock for stock the trans am is a hell of a better car then a mustang. but the mustang has a large aftermarket and the prices for them are almost half.

I would sport me a trans am In a heart beat. Ive always liked them. Now the camaros are ugly imo. But theres nothing better looking or meaner looking on the road than a WS6. And for all you guys out there that remember Sly well hes got a damn 10 second WS6 now.

I just watched the videos of Nagash01WS6 TA and that thing is ****ing sweet. I have always been a fan of anything American. I love stangs the most thought. But I wouldnt mined the power of the LS1.

By just seeing the outside and the power, I would sport the TA. But it would have to have the ram air package and that F'off look that they have.

Although when looking at the interior.. I would go with the Stang.

I'm sorry to any Camaro or Firebird owners. I just hate those pieces. Yeah they might be faster stock. But they look so bulky and nose heavy! As for them being faster--350/305 vs 281/302. I hope they are faster but it's funny how we just stick close by with smaller displacement. In most cases I've encountered the 302 can solidly beat a 305 no problem. Maybe it's just the 2 guys around my town can't drive? Well I guess we won't have to worry about them for a while anyway.

Hehe. I guess I can reverse the question for me. The only Mustangs I would take over my car is a Cobra R or the new Mach 1's. And of course the 05' Stang GT. The only bad things I don't like about my car is the engine bay. As a lot of you said, it's really cramped and hard to work on. But I'm still happy with it. I really hate hearing how GM products suck or vice versa. If you go to a F-Body site, they are gonna say the same thing about Ford. We have our problems, and you have yours. But it's all good. I'm a enthusiast for fast cars. I wouldn't spend occassional time here if I wasn't.

I hear that man. I do respect the F-bodys, I just don't like the way they handle, and the way the camaro's look. But you know how it is. Nice to have an F-body fan's opinion.
