If it's a solid body, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, regardless of what condition the drivetrain is in. I'd put a cage in it, and start building a weekend/strip warrior.

i have to agree with alot of people on here.. if you want a project.. then it is well worth the money.. now if your not mechanical.. then it might not be the best thign to buy.. think of it like this.. do you have the room?? do you have the time and spare money to work on it? do you want another project? as someone said you can always turn around and part it out if your interest in the project goes south.. build whatever you want out it
