I am getting ready to paint my fiberglass cowl hood. Would you paint the underside or just leave the gelcoat white???

Absolutely, it gives it a more finished look. Even if you don't wetsand and buff it to a good shine, it still makes a huge difference when you pop the hood.

Paint it. Leaving it unpainted will make the car look like a quick, cheap build. Plus, the white will get filthy without the paint
