I was looking at getting a mac prochamber for my longtube headers. I did a search to reveal some have had problems with it breaking and others have loved it? My question is is the breakage common, or does the majority of the population seem to like it? Performance and sound good?

Never heard anything bad about them. I've heard a few cars running them and they sound great! Wish I could say the same fore their headers.

I like the Mac prochamber, I also run mac long tubes and mac dumps and I have never had anyroblems with my prochamber at all and it has been on the car for over 2 years now. Car has seen a full racing season and countless 6000rpm holeshoot at the track with no breakage of the exhaust system.

I like it becasue it sound different then other h-pipes

yeah, I would definitely recommend it. I've had one on my car for over 3 years & never had a problem with it. Sounds great too.

a prochamber sounds makes the car sound like it has something in it, so if that is what you want go for it.

I've got the whole MAC catalog under my car....and love it. Wouldnt trade it for anything except a side exit catback, but i'd still keep the PC.

IMO, the prochamber is the best sounding midpipe. I used to have one, and I loved it. Go for it.

I've run both the offroad H and my prochamber, and the PC kicks ass. I've had no problems with it, and the fitment was great with shorty headers. The best sound comes from this thing, no questions asked. Go for it!

Not to hijack but I'm interested in the ProChamber too but can't find anywhere that sells it? I don't need a full cat-back system with the piping and everything, I just need the midpipe chamber section to put into my current exhaust. Do they sell just those sections or can I get one and if so where?

This is about the best price i've found for it and a lot of other Mustang Parts. Not to mention he's a Kenne Bell dealer too.

check out this thread, i had the same question about 2 weeks ago but after hearing this, questions be gone. oh, and mustangwarehouse.com WILL be the best deal all around if you're getting the ceramic coated l/t(no others should be used IMO) and the prochamber.
