Well today I just installed my Pro 5.0 short throw shifter. I was down in Phoenix yesterday and I went to www.bieberfever.com over on University, mostly all mustang shop - what an awesome store! Any way I bought the Pro 5.0 and installed it today and I love it!! What a difference, its almost like a whole new car! I cant believe I had that stock pos for so long!! I am very pleased!

Sweet....I need one.

I removed the rubber from the stocker and it made a HUGE difference, so I could only imagine what a nice new one might do!

Glad you like your new shifter. I drove my buddy's 91 gt before and after his Steeda tr-axe and it was a night and day difference.

I have had quite a bit of work done at AMP. They are always helpful and have good service. Not to mention, they always have a parking lot full of nice mustangs.

Lol I hear ya!! Yeah, when I walked into AMP I was like a kid in a toy store!! Do they do good work on the cars?? I am considering getting 3.73's done there sometime in the near future and they quoted me about $630 for everything... not sure if thats a good price, but if they do good work ill probably go there anyway.

OT-Get gears dude... I put it off forever also.
The drivability is awesome. I can cruise at 30 mph in 3rd and the car doesn't buck like with the 3.08's.

Btw I still have my stock "pos" shifter and I like it very much thank you.

When I had my 4.10's installed in my 91 LX, I had them installed at Arizona Differential Specialists. They do great work. They charged me $220 for labor. (I had all my parts).

Give them a call, and ask for Nate.

Thanks very much, AMP said they would only sell me their own gears, which were $199 and I can get them for $110 so I may do that. Did they come with a warranty?
