I don;t have any experience at all with the 99+ Gt's so I thought I would come to you folks with questions about one I found for sale. 1999 Mustang GT 34,000 miles, yellow, Saleen SC and intercooler, the guy said it's some special edition?? has black leather and all the piping in the seats is yellow. As the car sits it needs a core support, both fenders, bumper cover, hood and paint. He is asking $5800 for the car the way it sits I was going to just buy a cervini Cobra R front bumper cover, and a Cobra R hood, and 2 fenders. I'd have about $1200 in parts, including the core support, and another $1000 to paint everything to match. so all said and done I'd have right around $8,000 into a SCed car. Is it worth it for a car that is going to carry an R title, or should I pass on it and keep looking??

PS...no frame damage at all

If you plan on keeping it and don't care about resale value, I'd definately pick that up. Before you even put all the cosmetic work into it I'd take it to a tuner and have him tune it for you. But definately make sure it has NO frame damage what so ever.

What's his complete mod list?

no, it is MUCH too low for a street car!

an 03-04 cobra bumper and hood would look MUCH better

A friend of mine had a 03 GT Conv. with the Cobra R bumper AND it was dropped. He scrapped every pebble on the road. The dang thing had so many scratches on it it looked terrible. Sure they may look good but not a good idea to have on a street car.
