i know how you feel man...i just crashed mine up today, not as bad as yours but still $4000+ worth of damage. my passenger side quarter panel is crushed in, mirror assembly is gone, scratched tail light, cracked the pillar by the mirror as well and some other stuff as well...ive only had the car for a little over 1 month btw i spun out on a turn and smashed into a delivery truck that has a trailer. im so angry and upset with this situation because im only 19...i mean i make good money but i dont want to deal with my insurance going up from 270 a month

The reason I didn't want them to total mine was that I would only get no more than $15K. A new GT at that time was $30K. I didn't want someone else's messed up ****. I choose to keep my car with fixed damage. It's still a beautiful car.

Btw, sue for medical (even if it's your own insurance company). Doctors get 1/3, lawyers get 1/3 and you get 1/3 for your suffering. Go get yourself taken care of (comes out of the doctor 1/3). That's what you pay insurance for. Get what you paid for.

Glad you are okay, I say you should get your neck checked out. Cars can be replaced but people cannot. I was in a similar situation a while back but I was driving my 62 Bird. Old lady pulled out to make a illegal left turn and I locked up and hit here at 15 MPH but I had no seat belts and my head hit the steering wheel. My car was fine but hers was not. Your car might be repairable. hopefully there is no frame damage.

Remember me, folks?

So Here's my life the last 2 years that I haven't posted through...

My GT was totaled... I got $10,500 for it. Paid off the loan, still had around 3000 left... Unfortunately, I made a smart choice and paid my rent with it for a while.

I now drive a 1998 Dodge Ram 318 V8 5 speed 4x4, but I'm searching left and right for a SN95 Cobra or GT to trade it for. So we'll see. I'm still trying my hardest to get another one.

that sucks man, glad to hear your okay, I totalled my car about 3 weeks ago and they totalled it. Come to find out airbags alone totalled my gt.... but I ended up buying another sn95 this past week. everything happens for a reason man, just be happy your still walking, oh and good luck finding another one!
