My mechanic took off my upper and lower intake and says oil is getting into the manifold because the intake gasket (FMS M- 9439-50) port openings are too big and doesn't match the intake ports very well which is probably causing airflow restriction.I looked at it and the gasket holes are not well aligned with my Cobra intake and are a lot larger than the heads' intake ports. He says as a result air and oil is being sucked into the holes near the back of the intake.Do i have the wrong gasket? It is the one that Ford Racing recommends for installing with the Y303 heads on their Instruction Sheet. The gasket itself also has 1262s written on it.Could this be causing oil to get into my intake and ultimately being burned out my exhaust?

Yes, without a doubt.
Call ford racing (don't know the number) and they will tell you the right gaskets to put on.
My buddy (who owns a mustang shop) had this issue with a FMS crate engine about a month ago, and it truely was the lover intake gaskets, he called the motorsport tech line, and they got him the right gaskets. Unfortunately i don't know the part numbers off hand.
