WTF!!??

heres the problem
my 89 lx 5.0 just got back from being rebuilt
we drove it home about 10 miles
and around the block less than a mile
i pull up to the garage
and there are a few droplets
then one it was off it began to drip faster and harder
it seemes like the water pump
but its brand freeking new!!!??
it has an aluminum radiator
and the stock fan
any one have any ideas??

Start with making sure all the hoses are tight. Its possible a gasket was forgotten, too. I'm sure its something simple.

New parts can be bad from the get go.....been there, done that.

It is anti-freeze correct?

I have always had a hard time getting the thermostat housing to seal. You could check around that area to see if you see anything.

That area can be a bitch... Make sure the thermostat was installed with the correct orientation! The thermostat should be inside the hose neck, then the gasket goes on the outside of that. You can get gaskets with adhesive on one side to make installation easier. The thermostat should "point" to the radiator (cone end faces into the radiator hose neck).
