x-pipe, cherry bombs, 351w?

my 88 has a 351w in it and i need exhaust. my mechanic has an x-pipe and some cherry bombs, but i wanted turbos or flowmasters. any advice on his combo? thanks.

It is going to be really loud. I would spend a couple of bucks and at least get some $20 turbo mufflers instead of running glass packs. Lots of guys in my area have them on their trucks and it is just obnoxious.

Take the cherry bombs and bury them in your yard and get some flowmasters. I don't care what anyone says, glasspacks sound like hell

i think im going to do that. i youtubed that glasspack setup and it did sound kinda razzy.

Good choice......bury them deep or someone else may find them and use them.....Then you'd still have to hear 'em.

A friend has a 65 Mustang with a mild 289 in it and glasspacks. It is the best sounding Mustang I hear on a regular basis.

the xpipe and glasspacks would sound amazing imo, it would just be LOUDDDDDDD
