Someone told me that I need to replce the passenger side gasket when I install my X pipe. Is this true and if so, I only replace the one gasket? Someone clue me in, becuase I'm installing my pipe Sunday.

Thanks

I installed an xpipe on my old 99 GT, didn't have any troubles, and just finished the install to my 03 Cobra, no gaskets needed there either. My xpipe on the 99 was by headman headers and my cobra is by bassani. The quality of the bassani kit is awesome. they come with inline tubes so you can replace them with cats if you need to fairly easily.

I was majorly torn between the Bassani (I'm a Bassani wore) and Magnaflow. Magnaflow cats will pass the sniffer and Bassani won't, so that was a huge factor for me. I don't care about visual becuase I'm sure I can find a smog "friendly" shop.

I'm up on the W-D to get the bolts off but never heard about the o2 lube. What's up with that?

All we did was WD-40 5 minutes prior and everything came off real easy. o2 sensors were no problem and we didn't use any lube or new gaskets.
