x pipe/header ?

i am looking to get long tube headers and seen a BBK short x pipe. do you use this when using long tubes and the installing a bolt on cat back exhaust, or do you use the full length x pipe on the long tubes still?

you must use a short mid-pipe, because long tube headers exend under the car way past the point of regular length midpipes..... expensive long tubes and cheap short mid pipes....or cheap shorty headers and expensive long midpipes...

Thanks, I am so glad I seen those before I ordered Long Tubes and a full length X pipe.
