X-Pipe Installed-Possible to lose power with?????

Installed a UPR X-Pipe without cats and it is hard to tell if there is any power increase. It almost feels like in some gears I lost power!!! Sound on the outside of car is good but on the inside there is alot of air sound. Everything is tight and no leaks, idles great but is that how they sound on the inside of car???

I put an off road hpipe on mine and it felt like it lost power down low to me , but top end screamed compared to before , i think it lost some torque in the midrange , but when i put the long tubes on , i gained tq and hp big time

I doubt that you lost power with an o/r x pipe. Dyno can only tell

What about the sound inside the car? It sounds like alot of air compared to the outside.

In all dyno tests I've seen an x pipe softens low end tourqe but is gained back up high. The only X I've heard of no loss but a gain of tourque down low is a Dr. Gas. No personel experience with the X's so it's all word of mouth and magazines so I could be wrong.
