now ... i know that buying an x-pipe catted or not is sort of pricey and it takes away at least 2 cats... so my question is - if i had someone make me a custom x crossover to replace the H i have without touching the cats .. would it make a difference? has anyone tried it? basically it would be a small x that connects the tubing where the H is now.. btw it would only cost $40

thats not going to do you much good because the stock cats are still there. The point of getting a different midpipe is to get more flow and some horsepower. Leaving the four stock cats and replacing just the crossover pipe is not going to do anything at all. just save up your money and buy a good midpipe.

Magnaflow has one of those where you just cut out the h and replace it with the x.
I think that is 100 or so. Not sure if it will help any!
