I just had the X2C Motorsports Boxer ST upper and lower control arms installed on my Bullitt and I took it to the track.

Initial street driving impression was that the car hadn't been altered at all. The back end felt fine (maybe a tad bit stiffer!?), there is no squeaking and no additional noise is transmitted to the cabin.

They quad shocks were removed during the install and I don't miss them a bit.

On previous runs at the track I had been using 315 - 40 - 17 Nitto dr's. My best 60 ft with these tires and stock control arms was a 1.8?, with 60 ft times averaging 1.9's to 2.0's.

On this trip to the track I borrowed my friends 275- 60- 15 BFG dr's and launched like a mad man.

I was launching @ 5-6k and dumping the clutch, which was really weird for me, but the car took it like a champ.

Average 60ft times were 1.7's with a 1.6 every once in a while. I'm sure with more practice I could have lowered those times but like I said, I'm used to managing a Nitto dr with a much smaller sidewall.

Anyways - I ran a new best time of 12.11 @ 115.12 mph. The track was Los Angeles County Raceway @ 2700 ft and the air was humid, temp about 75 degrees. DA was 4500.

The control arms worked great and looked fine upon post race inspection.

I know I'm not comparing apples to apples here since I previously ran on a different tire but I thought I'd share my experience with y'all.

I'll get back with you next time I run on my 17 inch Nitto's and let you know how it goes.

A big thanks to Eddie @ X2C Motorsports for letting me destroy his brand new BFG dr's.

Some specs on the car: Vortech w/ aftercooler...yadda yadda.

The suspension is completely stock except for the Boxer control arms, no quad shocks, and a strut tower brace (not sure if that's considered suspension but I thought I'd throw it in there for good measure).

I suggest if you are going to keep launching at 5000 rpm, you better weld the torque boxes or your going to rip them out with drag radials.
