Seems like an easy question, but can you retard the timing with an xcal2 (nitrous applications). Also can you remove the top speed limits.

you can remove the stop speed limit, but i dont think you can retard the timing (yourself) unless you ask your tuner to add it into the initial tune.

I don't know if I'm oversteping my bounds but I thought that the GT's don't have a speed limiter I have at least yet to find mine if it does.

Yes, you can retard the timing on it yourself but probably not enough. So you should get a nitrous file for it and in addition the fueling may not be best for nitrous if it was set up NA.

TBH I'm not sure if my 03 has one but i have a friend with a 98 and he told me his cuts around 135. Only time ive been in that range is under spray and for fear of going lean ive always cut off about 125. Well going lean and the stock suspension and brakes scare me at that speed.

IIRC, only the 99 with the 16" wheels have speed limiters.

Correct if I'm wrong but I beleive the only reason they had speed limiters was the lack of Z-rated tires due to Federal mandations.
