Has anyone got the XCal2 standalone datalogging to work?

In other words, has anyone successfully done datalogging with the XCal2, without using a laptop?

Upgrade your firmware to 1.11.

I had 1.3 and thought mine was later. Yea, numerically 1.3 > 1.11 but SCT's version control says one-three is older than one-eleven.

So you actually got the standalone datalogging to work, without a laptop?

By the way, I read that you still cannot read the datalog without a laptop, which limits its usefulness. However, you can read the data as it's being logged.

Yes, you can datalog without a laptop. You get a whole two lines of text to watch as you drive. You can scroll up and down though. Once you get home, you can download the log file to your PC and analyze it. The Xcal2 does not provide a way to view the data on the device after you stop datalogging.
