You can waste your time getting them 80% clear with polishing compound, and various grits of sandpaper, or you can drop a little over a hundred dollars and have OEM Ford headlamps that can be properly aimed and won't fog up.

www.50resto.com has new FORD headlamps for $34.95 each. Reuse you old hardware.

I bought 2 reproduction headlamps from them 4 years ago and one of them leaked immediately. I called 50resto and they replaced the leaking one no questions asked. The only problem was the replacement was a FORD headlight. Over the years the repro headlamp has yellowed and the Ford headlamp still looks brandnew. I just got my other Ford headlamp in yesterday to replace the repro so both of my headlamps look the same.
