I think I definitely want to get another car to try my hand at a conversion in the future. I like the seeing the date codes you find on original stampings like that door post.

Must be nice putting in a new floor with no roof to get in the way, huh?

I found a little something i could do before i get it leveled . The inner door post . Drilled the plug weld holes and clamped in place and turned loose pop and spatter .
Old pop and spatter is in a half way good mood today ,pretty good welds and good penetration

All level and its square . I sat the floor in place to mark all the under bracing for plug welds , it is much easier with the roof off . still cant weld it in until i get a passenger side toe board

Alright Horse sence now your just showing off,
Dang I think your ready to build a mustang from scratch. Darn near doing it already.
I know where a Boss9 leaked a oil stain, maybe you can help me restore that oil stain back to its former glory. LOL
If anyone can it would be you.

I'm always finding new inspiration in your threads, thank you for sharing.

Me and that welder almost came to blows today ,one of these days i am going to get drunk and chop that sucker up ...can you get drunk from Dr. Pepper? Well ,i got the floor in and the seat boxes is where the welder decided it had enough and started spitting at me again . I am almost afraid to use that hunk of junk again but the rear seat trunk divider and tail panel is next

When is the last time you gave your welder a “Tune Up”? All the metal work and sandblasting you do around there probably wouldn’t hurt to give the Miller a good cleaning and contacts check

I really like my Hobart.

Did you also have to relief cut the transmission tunnel where it meets the rear transition pan?
