Finally decent temps to go outside and check some stuff out like clean cap and rotor, tb,maf,idle, tps, and and timing ,but my grease pencil marks have vanished and I cant quite make out the marks on the balancer so I am going to put a piston stop in the #1 hole and rotate right untill the piston hits the stop then put a mark on the balancer where the pointer is at , then rotate left untill the piston hits the stop that way also and mark it there, then measure between the two marks and that will be TDC, and then I could put some decent timing tape on and line it all up yes? I put some 89 midgrade gas in it the other day and it's rattlling like mad so I got the timing light out and just retarded it but dont know EXCACTLY how much.
