Your opinions on the FRPP 17" Cobra R 4 lug.

Many people here bash anyone who buys replica 4 lug wheels. So what happens when someone buys an authentic 17x8 4 lug wheel made by Ford, especially in chrome?

I am not considering buying these wheels, because I would do a 5 lug swap and buy the 1998 or 1999 Cobra wheel for $129.88 from SummitRacing.com.

If someone had the money to buy the very expensive chrome 4 lug wheel, what would you think?

They'd still look like five-spoke four-lug wheels, i.e. stupid. Go five-lug for those or stick to ponies, IMO.

I agree, it does look a little off, but I run silver Cobra R's with a 4 lug. I want to go 5 lug sooner than later when I get some welds, just don't have enough money right now.

4 lug anything do not look right on a fox body, especially those. And by 4 lug anything, I mean any wheel that has the lugs exposed. I do like Ponys, and 10 holes and turbines. Wait, I like everything but the 10 holes and turbines.
