Hey all I have a quick question. I just go my wheels but the center caps are smaller on the front wheels than on the rears. Where can i get some mustang ones that'll fit both wheels? Help please! :(

Ok so I found my Mustang center cap that I had lying around and put that in the wheel. it fit almost perfect on the DD rim but the front regular wheel cap is a tiny bit too small both in depth and diameter. So now I dont know what to do. Could I shave down the sides of the mustang piece? Come on I know there are more people with aftermarket wheels out there

How would I go about doing that? I think the diameter on the front wheel caps are the 2 3/8's inch and the ones on the rear (and from Ford) are 2 1/2 inch.

Hey choice of wheels Pliskin.

Most folks here that get aftermarket wheels usually use the center caps that come with the wheels, hence the lack of responses.

Check to see if any of the center caps listed on the link below will work with the two different sized wheel IDs you have. You may need to give them a call and speak to someone to get a better answer.

If the ID on the DD was fit without being loose, I would recommend hitting the oversized cap with a bench grinder. But, an undersized loose center cap is no better than an oversized one. :(

Let us know how it turns out.
