I need to replace my lock cylinder in my 92 vert for the trunk. Do i have to drill out a pin or something? I's like to get some feedback be4 i start..i don't wanna screw anything up!
Most locks are held in place by a big U shaped spring clip. Remove the plastic trim covering the lock, pop the clip loose that holds the arm on the lock. Then pull or pry the big U clip off, and then the lock assembly slides out.
the rivet holds the u clip..i pried that out, but now the hole assemply also has some sort of clip(srping like) thats preventing me from pulling out the cylinder. what should i do?
