Wiscasset Ford took really good care of me last year when I had my timing cover leak. They covered it under warranty when they could have easily voided it.

. Plus I want to get my clutch and 26 spline input shaft installed as well. Either one of the weekends depends on me getting all of these done.

What clutch are you getting? Are you changing the pressure plate and/or flywheel while you are at it?

hope that works good for you. I believe Chris said he wouldn't go with a Spec again. I know a racer who is no longer going to be using a Spec.
Some of those engage instantly. Kind of like a all or none situation which can be unpleasant in a street car.
I'm doing some reading trying to pic the right clutch.

i hate my stage 2 spec...the engagement zone is about the width of a C-hair....if i am off even a MM it chatters

thats why I'm steering away from the Spec. It seemed to be the flavor of the month for a while in the stang universe. It just took a little time to get some honest feedback about the clutch and how harsh the engagement was. If you read the descriptions you will notice some are a instant engagement or in other words no slippage/bad on the street.

The Centerforce DFX kit was all the rage for awhile in the Cobra crowd. Not quite so much now due to some premature failures. Oh well, only time will let me know if I made a wise choice.

BTW, I have heard very good things about the RAM clutch....

gotcha. im thinking of going with 18x9 and 18x10 afs chrome. but may now wait and see how the deep dish 03 cobra rims come out. stock will do for now
